Creative Director Randy Gunter tells how this ad campaign had to wait a year before it could be produced…

“I was watching a ballgame and on a fence was a poster for an upcoming Independence Day celebration. Well most people call it a 4th of July celebration, so the Independence Day headline was intriguing. Got to thinking about our client at that time, Wyffels Hybrids, who we were really telling the “independent/independence” story. (Most seed companies are referred to as multi-national or similar monikers, owned by bigger chemical companies.) However, when I came up with the idea, we already had that year’s idea in the works and it was too late to change it. So I had to wait a year for this idea to come to fruition.”
