Robert J. is an award winning singer/songwriter from Madison, Wisconsin. He has been a working musician for more than 20 years and has recorded four albums as a solo artist. He is also the principal songwriter for the Wisconsin band, The Moon Gypsies who have released three CDs. In 1999, Robert J. won the Billboard songwriting contest in the Blues/R&B category for his song, "A Million Miles Away" and in 2003, he won a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Award) for Male Vocalist of the Year.
